Contents (Articles) and  Website Traffic

 A familiar phrase among internet entrepreneurs is, "content is king". 

No one will dispute this statement as it is true and holds good. When

You are optimizing your pages for search engines, you have to make a 

slight modification to the above statement. That is, content is king, 

if it is unique.

 1.choose the subject you are so passionate about and  interested, so

that you could contribute to the public.  Then select the related key 

words pertaining to the subject search for competition over that key 

word. Finally pick the  key word for which the competing sites are 

less. Start writing contents around the  subject matter you have 

selected, with the targeted  key words. For example is your  business 

involves offering products and services regarding weight management,  

posting fitness related articles and contents will attract prospective 

customers on a regular basis.

 2.Freebies and bonuses will double or even triple your News Letter 

subscription. Take care that the  contents or manuals you are giving 

away as a bonus for subscription to your newsletter, are of high 

quality. People love freebies, so give them want they want and watch 

your business growing.

removal of emails will be done automatically and you will not be 

caught in spam. Keep your course short and simple. For example a 7 

part course should be finished in 7 consecutive days. You can offer

subscription list and make them your loyal customers, is the secret 

behind your list building effort.  Sending informative articles or 

contents on a regular basis will earn their trust and establish you as

an expert on your subject. As a result your subscribers will be eager

to get the full advantage of your products and services.

 5.Another wonderful way to get free traffic is by submitting your 

articles to  article hungry websites and newsletter publishers, with 

your 'resource box'  attached. A Resource Box is a short biography 

about you with your website link in  it. Make sure to give the specific 

instruction that each article is to be reprinted  as is with the 

resource box attached. Just one article can go a long way to generate 

a huge traffic. Just imagine one article or content is being sent to

a subscriber  base of 50,000 subscribers - many of them will be reading 

your content which  includes your resource box and clicking your link 

to know what you have to offer.

 6.The last but not the least point to be kept in mind while 

building your  web pages with contents. Many usually lack self 

confidence to start writing content rich articles and some even

develop fear over writing an article. For those people,  the private 

label rights contents (PLR articles) are the best alternative sources.

As I already told in the beginning 'Unique Content' is most important 

to escape  penalizing by major search engines for duplicate contents.

 Modify to the level of 25% to 30% is advisable to make them appear

unique. The important tip is, introduce the opening paragraph 

and the closing paragraph in  your own words and preferably with your 

own thoughts. If you are serious enough to  build unique contents, 

then rewrite the in-between paragraphs in your own words.  You know 

the main subject line and the only thing you have to do is replacing 

them with your  own words. It is not a painstaking task. You can finish 

it in half-an-hour flat. If you are not taking this point seriously, 

then your content will be a killer and not the king.
